I am now in Graz (more TK), but I was (too) briefly in Frankfurt, where I had food and drinks at this establishment, which I think roughly translates to Drunk Squirrel Bar. (It does not.) By food I mean a Jägerschnitzel the size of my torso, and by drinks I mean Apfelwein, which is basically cider, but you mix it with either mineral water or lemon or orange soda to make a sort of cider spritzer. It comes served in a lovely bembel. It can, I learned, be potent. But I’m going to blame the wooziness I suffered that evening on jet lag, mostly.
