I was talking to these Canadian girls the other night, who are very proud of their Canadianness (which, sure why not?) and we were trying to come up with Canadian musicians beyond the super-obvious—Barenaked Ladies; Anne Murray;Celine!—and I totally spaced until now on the “politically satirical folk-pop band from Thornhill, Ontario Canada” (per Wikipedia).
